I took a few textile design classes during my time at Srishti Institute of art, design and technology. I was mostly interested in learning about handloom weaving and also did a little bit of printmaking and dyeing. Since then I try to weave on a frame loom at home and create tapestries as my personal practice.

In July 2024, I was part of the Ós Textile Residency in Iceland. I developed a few tapestry designs over there which were inspired by Icelandic landscapes and worked with naturally dyeing Icelandic wool using Lupine plants and flowers.

Here’s some of my textile work over the years
